Training & enablement · five tracks

Learn KYE Protocol the way you'll actually use it.

Five tracks — engineers, architects, auditors, regulators, boards. Self-paced reading paths, live workshops, train-the-trainer for partners, and certification preparation for L4 audit firms. The protocol is open; the training is structured so you can pick the entry point that matches your role and time budget.

Five tracks

Pick the role; the path follows.

codeEngineers10-min quickstart · SDK tour (TypeScript / Python / Go) · conformance fixtures · reference Gateway · PEP / PDP / ePDP runtime.
architectureArchitectsAuthority Graph + Decision Map · state model · profile inventory · OAuth / OIDC / SPIFFE / MCP composition · threat model.
verified_userAuditorsEvidence-pack walkthrough · OSCAL projection · control-mapping projections · replay-with-public-keys lab · non-goals.
gavelRegulators266 control mappings tour · per-framework reference · jurisdictional bindings (PSD3, DORA, NIS2, EU AI Act) · honest non-goals.
business_centerBoardsOne-hour briefing · Authority Finality story · risk model · ROI · pilot scope · vendor questions.
Self-paced learning paths

Curated reading order, by role.

  1. ENGEngineers (90 min). Concepts → Developers quickstart → OpenAPI tour → conformance fixtures → SDK example. End: a passing conformance run on your laptop.
  2. ARCHArchitects (2 hr). Protocol → Concepts → Whitepaper → Integrations → Threat model. End: a one-page mapping of the protocol surface to your stack.
  3. AUDAuditors (2 hr). Auditors page → OSCAL → Compliance Card → Frameworks (your jurisdiction) → Risk page. End: ability to verify a sample evidence pack offline.
  4. REGRegulators (90 min). Regulators page → Frameworks (your jurisdiction) → Risk page → sample Decision Map. End: a verifiable view of one obligation end-to-end.
  5. BRDBoards (45 min). Home → Buyers → Use cases (your sector) → Risk page → Readiness self-test. End: questions you can ask the CIO.
Live workshops

Three formats, real artefacts.

Workshops produce signed artefacts you can keep — not slides. Each is delivered remotely or on-site by the KYE Protocol programme team.

  • W1Authority Mapping Workshop — 60–90 min for buyers/CIOs. We work through one of your real agent flows live and produce an authority map, a delegation map, a capability map, the risk areas, and a written pilot recommendation. The artefact is the deliverable.
  • W2Pilot Kickoff — half-day for enterprise engineers + architects. We scope a 2–4 week Authority Finality Pilot, draft the entity model, agree the conformance subset, and stand up the reference Gateway against your first agent flow.
  • W3Auditor Replay Lab — half-day for internal audit / 3PAOs. Hands-on: take a sample evidence pack, verify the signatures with public keys alone, project to OSCAL, walk the control mapping. End: the auditor can run the replay independently.
Train-the-trainer

For partner enablement.

L3 KYE Conformant and L4 KYE Certified partners can opt in to train-the-trainer enablement: deliver KYE Protocol workshops to your customers under a co-branding licence, with programme-supplied materials and signed completion artefacts. Two paths:

  • Workshop track — deliver Authority Mapping Workshops or Pilot Kickoffs. Programme provides the deck, the worked-flow library, and signed completion artefacts for attendees.
  • Implementation track — for SIs and consultancies running multi-week implementations. Programme provides the implementation playbook, the gap-analysis template, and a registry-listed implementer badge.
Certification preparation

For audit firms going to L4.

Audit firms preparing to deliver L4 KYE Certified audits complete a programme orientation: the 38-fixture conformance pack, the evidence-pack format, the OSCAL projection, the report template, and the audit-firm agreement. Two-day intensive, remote or on-site, signed completion artefact.
