Open Agent Governance Foundation

Standardise the category, in the open.

A category endures when its formats are open. The Open Agent Governance Foundation is the working group that standardises Agentic Governance. It ships 3 things: shared schemas, evidence-pack formats, and conformance tests. Authority decisions stay portable across vendors. They stay provable to regulators. This page is the charter and the call to join.

Charter

The Foundation exists to keep Agentic Governance open, interoperable, and regulator-legible. Its founding commitments:

  • Open schemas — the evidence-pack, decision-map, and authority-resolution formats ship under an open licence. No vendor gate.
  • Conformance, not lock-in — a conformance suite proves an implementation speaks the formats. Adopters keep the freedom to switch.
  • Replay from public keys — a third party re-derives any sealed decision from public keys alone. Finality is verified independently.
  • Regulator participation — supervisors take part as first-class members. The formats map to the frameworks they enforce.

Call for participation

The Foundation is forming its founding cohort of implementers, auditors, and regulators. Participation is open and obligation-light at this stage: review the charter, signal intent, and help shape the first conformance milestone. KYE Protocol contributes its reference implementation as a starting point, not as the final word.
